Rashunda Miller Reed -- updated.jpg

Hello, my name is Rashunda, aka

Counselor

I love the idea of having better relationships with ourselves and others. I have been providing counseling since 2005.  My expertise is helping clients develop healthy relationships.  I have also counseled in PK-College settings, home-based, and now private practice.

Therapist

I offer a warm, yet down to earth approach for strengthening relationships with self and others. My approach begins with a lot of listening and questions to understand you.

Learner

It's important for me to practice and stay educated. I am  trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level-1,  Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) Level -2, Discernment Counseling, and Sex Therapy. While I am fully licensed, I still use recordings to improve my skills for review by my own supervisor and consultant

Educator & Researcher

I enjoy teaching, researching, and presenting on trending and important topics in counseling and therapy which also helps me to provide the best care to clients.

Romantic

I consider myself a realistic romantic. I love all things love, yet realize that commitment is needed to keep relationships going. I respect that couples can choose satisfying relationships, or not.

100% Human

I provide real interactions with clients where the range of emotions and experiences are welcomed. I'm sometimes weird and quirky. For fun, I like going to museums, meeting new people, wearing cowboy boots 🧡, watching the same movies over and over, and road trips with my family.

The Masculine in Relationship

by

GS Youngblood

I am always reading books to better myself as a counselor, therapist, and partner. As we mature, relationships (hopefully) become our playground to explore and expand. The author provides a male perspective for what it meant for him to fully show up in relationships following a divorce. A great read for anyone seeking enlightenment about relationships.
